I ORDERED A FUNERAL ARRANGEMENT FOR A FAVORITE AUNT ONE WEEK BEFORE HER SERVICE. TWO HOURS AFTER THE SERVICE 1 800 FLOWERS HAS SOME GIRL THAT CAN BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH CALL ME AND TELL ME THEY WERE NOT DELIVERED BC OF A 'COMPUTER ERROR'. BUT WOULD LIKE TO GIVE ME A 20 percent COUPON FOR MY 'NEXT ORDER'. I TOLD THEM NO. SO SHE SAYS 'WELL WOULD YOU LIKE THEM DELIVERED TO YOUR HOUSE?' RIGHT. First, who ever heard of flowers arriving IN A BOX? And the potted rose bush that was sent to me that was guaranteed (as in GUARANTEED) ten lavender rose blooms only produced one before the plant died and the rest of the buds died on their stalks. When I called 1800FLOWERS, I spoke with "Corona" who told me there was nothing they could do. I asked for the CEO's name and address and she told me (ready for this?) that it was PRIVATE INFORMATION! We ordered flowers for our daughter's birthday yesterday to have delivered to her school. Customer Service called me to say that the florist could not make the arrangement I had ordered but offered another one. I approved that. However, today, we find out that our daughter NEVER received the flowers. I called customers service and the only thing they could say was "Sorry, we don't know where the order is, but, would you like $20 off your next order?" ARE THEY INSANE???? First they had the same bouquet listed twice at 2 different prices. I when i got the confirmation email, i called and supposedly the charge was corrected. Secondly the flowers were never sent. No record of them being reordered at the right price. .i was on hold several times with the woman who said she was taking care of it. Third:when i called yet again to complain the bouquet ans most others were not available and i could only get flowers that could be shipped in a box by fedex! I was told this bouquet would be free. I love receiving fresh flowers so when a giant purple box arrived on my doorstep earlier this week I got a jolt of excitement through my body. The anticipation piqued as I unwrapped the gift wondering who was so cool to send me flowers for no reason. The packaging was great, all of the gerbera daisies were individually wrapped and they came with a shipping vase. On February 10th, I decided to order 2 sets of flowers (2 separate orders) both for $100 or more. 1 was to a client and the other was to my wife for valentines day to be delivered on Feb 13th. My client got hers on Feb 11th in a different city and I got an email thanking me for the flowers and teddy bear (new child) so I was expecting great things on Saturday for my wifes flowers (paid extra for saturday delivery). If it was possible to give no stars, I would. I placed an order on 2/8/2016 to receive flowers on 2/23/2016. I received a phone call from a company rep today,(a whole week later), stating I could not have the flowers delivered on that date. That the flowers could ONLY be delivered this Thursday, the 18th. When I told the rep no one would be home that day to receive the flowers I asked about Friday. I was told , "No". I had ordered flowers for my girlfriend for Valentines Day. I ordered beautiful roses for her. I paid the full price of the flowers plus the delivery,, however, when she said she didn't get a package I got concerned. I called in to see what had happened and I was told that they were not delivered at all!! I paid for it to be delivered and that could not be done. I am very disappointed and upset about this. I cannot express how disappointed I am with 1800flowers. These guys dropped the ball and made me look really bad! I placed a Valentine's day order 19 days in advance for them to turn around and cancel my order on Valentine's day. Why didn't someone contact me sooner? Didn't they have enough time? I called customers service and they offered to send free flowers the following week, seriously!
