1800Flowers complaint by S_sl8

I ordered a bonsai tree for my brother's birthday on 1800flowers.com. He didn't get it on his birthday, a week went by and he still didn't get it.

I called the company and they said it was still in the delivery warehouse and hadn't even been sent yet! The customer service rep was nice but had no explanation as to why it wasn't sent.

They offered me a $10 gift certificate...gee, thanks...that doesn't even cover their shipping cost! Do not use 1800flowers, you can't rely on them to get your product delivered in time!! What else would you use a special occasion service for? They suck.

as for the warehouse above..most of the time the shippers do not send a reason why the product did not leave...ups and so forth screw alot of companys over other than flowers...they destroyed a 3,000 dollar ice making machine and was poor in the service (ups). rep's only have so much room to move with out a supervisor...and then if you still want the gift sent..there is so much of a discount they can give. if it's shipped and it does not get there...point the finger there.

Ordered flowers via 1800flowers. Scheduled to be delivered the day prior to the funeral. They delivered the flowers in the afternoon on the day of the funeral--funeral was in the morning. I asked for a full refund. they want to give me a coupon for my next purchase--are they crazy? Why would I want to do business with them after this?
