1800flowers - Delivery Service Review from Asheville, North Carolina

Went through this Company to send flowers across the country to a fellow Marine, friend, who's life was cut to short. After speaking for over an hour, and having the representative for 1-800 Flowers repeat to me the particular arrangement I purchased, the cost, the address of where to be sent. The time of the service and the DATE! After all of that, the flowers did not arrive to the service. I called back and she had submitted the date to be delivered , three days after the service! I contacted them the day after the service and that is when I learned of their mistake. She said they were sorry, and would give me 20% off on my next purchase with them! Really? A do over? Seriously. Nothing against any nationality, but this is America, English is the National language. One requirement for employment in a "speaking" position, should be fluency in speaking English. Everyone I spoke with (3 different people) all were of Oriental descent. Spoke very broken English. When I asked for a full refund, they said they would, but it would take 7 business days! So not only did they mess up something you can't ever fix, they don't immediately refunded your money. Folks, I have learned a lesson. If you are ever faced with the situation I was faced with, do NOT use this company. Instead, get online, simply type in florist in the same zip code as the Funeral Home or the place that the arrangements will be made and call them directly. That way it is between you and the florist and cut out the incompetent company 1-800 Flowers.

My husband ordered Mother's Day flowers for my mom on Wednesday, to be delivered on Friday. Got an email on Friday saying there will be a delay and will be delivered on Saturday. No flowers on Saturday. Called and customer service says they ran out of roses!!!! There will be no delivery! Ugh!!! I will NEVER use these jerks again!
