Flowers not delivered when contracted to be delivered.
I ordered some flowers for my wife on the morning of 2/13/2025 and checked to see if they could be delivered mid-day on 2/14/2025, It appeared that they agreed to that and I placed the order. 2/14/2025 came and went, no flowers were delivered.
I called to ask them to cancel the order on 2/15/2025 and they offered me a 15 dollar discount on my next order. I said, as politely as possible, that there would be no next order, and that I wanted the order canceled and a full refund. Then the person I was talking to at 1800Flowers disconnected the call. I called back and was put in a hold queue that was for over 35 miuntes due to high call volume.
I waited for 45 minutes and the call was disconnected again. At this point, I called my credit card company and disputed this transaction, and explained to them what I ordered and when it was supposed to arrive, and that it did not arrive, and I was unable to get a cancellation of the order nor a refund. They hung up on me.
My credit card froze the transaction. Now I have to explain in writing to the credit card company the events that lead me to call them and enter a dispute.

I ordered peonies for my wife for Valentine's Day for $155. They arrived, obviously having been frozen before, and were drooping.
They were not the product that was advertised on your website. I spent 30 minutes on your chatbot and eventually, they said they would refund the entire amount, but without a confirmation number.
I will share this information on social media along with a picture of your product since your customer service person was unwilling to view a photo of your product as it appeared at our home. Such a disappointment!

I placed an order ( see below information). My niece and nephew just called me and were very disappointed .
The, poinsettia that I sent, which looked beautiful on your site, turned out not so beautiful!! They said it was all green molded and when they removed the covering, a good portion of the branches, leaves and flowers fell off of the plant ... What is happening with the quality of your products lately? I had ordered a plant previously this year and it also was unacceptable.
In that case I decided to have another plant sent to my friend!
This time is a different story. I do not want another plant sent! I want a full refund of my money. I also want to cancel My Passport account as I will not be purchasing from 1-800-flowers any longer.
I expect a refund sent to my account for both the plant and the amount of the Passport subscription. This is shameful! A company with your reputation should not allow merchandise to be sent to their customers in such terrible condition. I am attaching some photos of the plant in question.
I look forward to my refund and acknowledgement of this email

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They gave me a full refund after not delivering the flowers.
I ordered a Sympathy Spray to be delivered a day before a funeral and it was not delivered. I called customer service (Herwin), who then offered to have the Sympathy Spray delivered the next day after the funeral.
Now, what sense does that make? To add insult to injury, he offered me a partial refund. I'm very disappointed and hurt by the lack of empathy and sympathy from your customer service agents. This is the second time I have been disappointed with your service during such a very important and critical delivery time.
I will never use you again. Apologies will never be accepted.

Preferred solution: There is no apology that can fix this. How do you explain to an already grieving family that you weren’t thinking about them during the grieving process?

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.
After a year, I was charged for a renewal on the Passport subscription. I received no notification of a pending charge, so it took me by surprise.
I was shocked to see about three other charges forthcoming. I tried to contact customer service, only to get the chat. It was not helpful at all, mind you, it was the weekend. I called on Monday only to be told to call back later in the day (it was 7 am EST).
I am not pleased one bit. I expected a little more professionalism.
I just wanted to cancel the service. Now, I am done with this company for good.

I have never used this company before, but I wanted to try. Today is my daughter's birthday.
I was trying to send her flowers to her company. On my first try, I ordered #100551SCLHV1B1VL19CK16 (HD flowers, cookie, bear). I put in both my gift cards; one for $50 (6035****611******** pin 9713), and a second one for $25 (6035****580******** pin 7834). However, the total exceeded my funds so I decided to try the #90577S tuplip for $39.99.
When I tried to use my gift cards, it stated that they were already used. It didn't take it off from the first order that I tried. So, on 1/31/25, at 12:39 AM, I called and spoke to someone at your call center. The representative said he could see that the gift cards were used for that order, but the order didn't go through, and didn't know how to proceed.
Now, I'm out of $75. These gift cards are rewards from my work.
I worked really hard to earn those gift cards and now I've not been able to send my daughter anything for her birthday. Please help me.

When paying the 29 dollars for no future delivery charges. With original billing at 1;00 pm.Then waking up this morning to find an additional 32.09 charges, and e mail said product.No explanation of membership charges.Final frustration was trying to contact the company and seeing I automatically can be a member of the pissed customers for life for free, I hope.
No real area to express concerns without being labeled a problem customer. Csr, explained but quite a shock.
I do not desire to have this posted publicly. Trying to help your company with perception given and being labeled for concerns expressed and trying to let you know.

They FINALLY sent me a cancellation email with this review attached. It is so frustrating and time consuming to have to even do this review process.
They could have first of all CALLED ME when there was a problem with my order and they could have automatically found a florist that could do the arrangement. Instead they emailed me which delayed finding a resolution. Secondly when I called them I shouldn’t have had to repeatedly tell the quick talking man to cancel my order because he REALLY wanted me to order a lesser product. Thirdly a PROMPT cancellation email would have been nice.
It should NOT have taken THREE phone calls and a Pissed Customer review to make that happen. Lastly a more prompt refund would be nice.
I will not delete or resolve this review until such time as I actually receive my refund. I’m not hopeful that it will happen without multiple follow up phone calls.
I paid for the arrangement plus service charge and tax to the tune of $104.25. An hour and a half later I received an EMAIL NOT A PHONE CALL for me to reach them because there was a problem with my order. I called and got a foreign call center. The man there was a swift talking man telling me that they couldn't deliver what I ordered but that they could offer me a smaller bouquet at half price or even two smaller bouquets for half price.
When I said no he said they would search for another provider. I once again said no and asked for a refund. I was assured that the order was cancelled and in THREE minutes I would receive an email confirmation of the cancelation and in 7-10 business days I would receive a refund on my credit card. THREE AND A HALF HOURS LATER I still had not received the email.
So I called back. Was assured by a nice foreign lady that my order was cancelled and I would receive a refund in 7-10 days. I asked about the email. She was baffled.
Had to get help. Came back to say in ONE HOUR they would send me a "manual email" and in 7-10 days I will receive a refund to my credit card. Will maybe have an update in an hour . .

The flowers was for a close family member 80th birthday. Placed order that morning for same day delivery.
Got a call later that day stating the item was not available. Well after a lengthy conversation and the frustration in my voice on trying to select different flower arrangements only to be told neither of them was available. I told him they should hv updated the site and removed all items that wasn't in the store The customer service then proceeded to say they would be delivered only that they wasn't until the next day after her birthday celebration was over. Not happy.
Would NOT recommend this company for your same day and special day celebration. Not dependable. So disappointed. 80th birthday is a BIG blessing and special time in some one's life.
Be considerate of that. I told the young that man in customer service

Hello
I ordered a dozen black roses and i received 10 whole flowers and 2 broken ones. I also paid extra to have it delivered on valentines which it was but because of the delivery time being so late in the day i had to cancel my reservations for the day because i wouldnt have been able to make them because i had to wait all day for my wifes flowers to ride around in a truck since 8 this morning. The bumping around in the truck fo 5 +hours maybe why i received broken flowers.

Order placed for same day delivery, order was not received to the recipient. Order was verified on the website as delivered.
Email received from the 1-800 flowers at 21:00 that their was no flower shop in the area, but this is Miami Florida, their are flower shops everywhere.
I provided the telephone number of the recipient when ordered and no one called to identify delivery, or a possible problem.
The order number on the website was different and not what was identified on the original order.
The chat line of 1-800 flowers was a joke and another run around.
I will never use this site again!
No help at all
Canceled my ordered, didn't call me and decided to refund me without giving a refund. Left a sketchy voicemail in broken English and then proceeded to talk to someone else resulting in a 10min long voicemail with no info at all.
I'm out of the country and you couldn't do one simple task of delivering flowers and giving a proper heads up if something was wrong. No call or email, just stress.

Placed an order with more than timely manner, order is now lost and Nobody at the company wants to hear about it or do anything to make it right. Don't waste your time and money the only response you'll receive is a generic we can offer redelivery and $15 off your next purchase.
