Ordered flowers for a funeral.. never got them.

We ordered over $200 in flowers from 1-800 Flowers for a funeral.

We ordered bouquets (far enough in advance), but when we arrived at the funeral home, the flowers were not there. We called to see what happened, and were assured that they were, in fact, delivered. We had multiple people on the phone for hours before the funeral trying to track down the flowers before finally being told that they cancelled the order (we were never notified). The funeral had begun by the time we found answers, and to fix their mistake, they offered to give us a slight discount and different bouquets.

The solution was insulting, and it had come too late.

We never got the flowers we needed for my uncle (a husband, brother, father, grandfather, and so much more) and the solution offered to us was pathetic. They could never make up for the insult given to my family on that day.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I liked: Pretty pictures online.

I didn't like: Not recieving the order, Being given excuses on the phone, 20 dollars offered to make up for 200 dollars of flowers, Time wasted getting answers, Lack of respect for a funeral.
